The University of Chicago Medical Center said goodbye to two longtime employees recently. Sandra Brown, lead clinical coordinator in radiology, and Carole Guger, RN, clinical nurse educator in the Center for Nursing Professional Practice and Research, retired in June, both after more than two decades at the Medical Center.
Brown earned a certificate in computer coding from the Computer System Institute, Chicago, and has worked at the Medical Center for more than 30 years. Guger began her career here more than 20 years ago. She achieved a master’s degree in nursing from Purdue University–Calumet. The Medical Center wishes them well in their retirement. They will be missed.
